A Faster Sandwich

Okay, yes I did laugh at first. But, I suppose, not having face to face communication at each step of the sandwich process will shave a few seconds. On the other hand, Subway’s bit has always been the personalized sandwich process where I can participate in the sandwich’s creation as we all slide down the counter.

This seems like an MBA’s half-hearted attempt to copy a self order concept. I mean, if speed is the concern why go half measure? Why have any human contact at all with its associated transaction costs? A custom order sandwich automat would seem to fit the bill.
